Welcome to Nia's World

Meet Nia, MOJA's spirited Chief Inspiration Officer (mascot), and the heartbeat of our mission. Nia isn’t just a guide; she’s a storyteller, mentor, and friend, leading you on a journey through Uganda’s wonders, rich cultures, and amazing communities. With Nia, every step is a discovery, every moment a chance to grow.

Pen pals, plot twists and a whole lot of dreaming big.

Providing a scholarship to a child through MOJA means your family gets a brand-new friend in Gulu, one with big plans and a story that’s only getting started.

Watch it unfold through the MOJA Garden App, made just for members, you'll exchange letters and videos that make the whole table cheer and close the distance between Uganda and your living room.

Then there’s the bonus round: Nia’s MOJA Missions! Your kids team up with Nia, our fearless explorer, for hands-on adventures full of joy, creativity and the occasional glorious mess. They’ll invent, imagine, take bold action and discover they’re leaders already. Two kids, two corners of the world, one shared adventure.
