Join the MOJA Community: You will be added to our community updates, giving you a front-row seat to the social design work happening on the ground in Gulu. Steward Members:  Welcome: In addition to the welcome package, you will receive the Steward Membership Handbook. This is your essential guide to long-term social investment and the ethics of our partnership model. Student Matching: Our team in Gulu will begin the matching process to pair you with your MOJA Mate. Connection Pack: You will receive a comprehensive profile of your MOJA Mate, including their name, aspirations, and a personal introduction to kickstart your shared journey. Family Enrollment: If you have children, they will be integrated into Nia’s Missions, connecting them directly with the world of their MOJA Mate through collaborative learning.

Nia is MOJA's Chief Inspiration Officer, a storyteller and guide. Four times a year, Nia leads a Mission: a creative activity that your family and your match student in Uganda complete simultaneously. You exchange letters, drawings and videos. It's co-creation in practice (only available with the Steward Membership).

Once you activate your Steward Membership, our team in Gulu facilitates a partnership between you and a student (your MOJA Mate) within our education ecosystem. You will receive a digital onboarding pack including your MOJA Mate’s profile, their name, vision for the future, and a personal introduction. For members with children, your family is automatically enrolled in Nia’s Missions, a shared educational journey where your child and their MOJA Mate grow, learn, and co-create together.

The flexibility of your membership depends on the tier of your investment: Catalyst Members: Yes. You have full flexibility to pause or cancel your investment at any time, by contacting membership@moja.earth Steward Members: This tier requires a minimum commitment of one year. Because Stewardship involves a direct partnership with a MOJA Mate, this 12-month cycle ensures the stability and continuity of the student’s educational journey in Gulu. We view this as a long-term investment in social design rather than a one-time transaction.

Steward (CHF 129/month): Full scholarship: tuition, nutrition, accommodation, school supplies, mentoring, extracurricular academic support. Catalyst (from CHF 35/month): Contributes to essential medical care, Parenting Support Programme and the creative evolution of the Imaginarium.
